Trading at Rogerstone Village Festival .... Prices Held
The 2012 Festival will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 27th August at the Welfare Grounds, Tregwilym Road, Rogerstone, Newport, NP10 9EQ, and the event has free admission for the public.
The Festival is run by a small group of volunteers, who aim to provide a fun filled enjoyable day for local people. Funds for the Festival are raised by letting out pitch spaces to caterers, to stall holders for the sale of arts, crafts, bric a brac, produce, etc., to organizations wishing to promote their business, charity, club etc., to the fun fair and to other activity based organizations. The committee also raises funds by selling raffle tickets and by selling refreshments from Tydu Community Hall throughout the day. Subject to fine weather, we expect thousands of visitors for a 6 hour trading period from 12pm to 6pm.

DETAILS
The committee use the funds raised to pay for running costs, entertainment, insurance, prizes, hall hire and most importantly, donations to local charities. Every year the event becomes bigger and better. This year we hope to provide even more entertainment and will be extending the area of the festival to include the Cricket Pitch where Asda Active will have six different "stations" offering various family activities ... all free to enter. Our own Derek will be there to organise the cricket demo. There may be an opportunity for catering vendors to extend their pitch hire (at additional cost); more information will be available when arrangements have been finalized.
We require all our traders to complete and return an application form which includes terms and a risk assessment, available by e mailing dudleybv@hotmail.com. leaving a message on 01633 893185 or from the foyer of Tydu Community Hall.
You must also be adequately insured to cover yourself for any liability that might arise as a result of your trading activities.

Due to the very high demand and limited space we would prefer all applications to be received by 30th June 2012, unless we have special reasons for a delay OR YOU HAVE SPECIAL REASONS TO ATTEND.

We want you to have a successful trading day at the festival and will be pleased to advise you, especially if you are a new trader or this is your first time at the Rogerstone Village Festival.

PRICES HELD AGAIN

Catering pitch 12 - 6pm (limited to 4 pitches) - £120 (£100 if application returned by 31st May 2008)
Ice cream vendors (limited to 3 pitches) 12 – 6pm - £70 (£50 if application returned by 31st May 2008)
General stall pitch (5 metre) 12 - 6pm - £15

Micro pitch 12 - 6pm
Has been withdrawn because we were getting mis-lead about details

Activity based
(i.e. people pay to do the activity) 12 - 6pm - £100 (£75 if application returned by 31st May 2012)

Furniture Hire 12 - 6pm (Strictly Limited- Only Available by Booking in Advance)

£10 refundable deposit per pitch
(when tables/chairs returned in their original ... CLEAN ... condition at the end of the day).

Table hire - £5 Chair hire – 50p
